Things you should know:

1.  Keeping the resource pristine.  The property has been called a paradise. We want to keep it that way for you and for future guests. Therefore, we humbly request that you help keep the property and your cabins clean at all times. Please leave the cabins as clean as you found them upon arrival.

2.  Limited septic tank capacity requires us to ask you to keep your showers short.

3.  Pets.  Please speak with us before bringing pets of your own. We have 6 dogs. They will probably come and visit and beg for food. Please don’t feed Sumo. He is partially blind and may mistake your finger for a hot dog!

4.  Upon arrival.  You will be required to sign a liability release (one per family) and submit the balance of your bill upon arrival. Please, no arrivals after 10 PM or before 7:45 AM.

5.  Smoking.  There is no smoking in any of the buildings or boathouse. You may smoke on the grounds. Please dispose of cigarette remains safely.

6.  Cabin capacity.  There are full-size bunk beds in the bedroom and a pull out sofa in the living room. Therefore, comfortable cabin capacity is 3 or 4. You are welcome to bring a sleeping bag to accommodate an extra child.

7.  Boats and fishing gear.  Each cabin comes with a boat. There is also a pontoon boat (party barge) which guests may share. You may also use our tackle. If so, please return it in the condition you found it.

8.  Deposit.  A deposit of $100 per cabin is required. It is fully refundable up to 2 weeks prior to arrival and will be fully refunded if we are able to rent the cabins to another party.

9. Fishing.  We are basically a catch and release resource (except for catfish and crappie for a fish fry.)  Each cabin comes with a boat.  We try to reserve fishing from the boathouse dock for children, grandparents and for the inexperienced fisherman.

10.  Inviting outside guests.  We must be notified prior to you inviting outside guests to the property.

11. Cooking.  Everything you need for cooking is here. There are 7 restaurants within 10 minutes if you don’t feel like cooking. (list and directions to restaurants supplied in each cabin). We are 20 minutes from the mall which contains many more choices.
